Saturday, Sept 1, 2012, on the second day of the 37th annual Three Flags Classic, my GoldWing went south in a gas station in Rifle, Colorado, 25 miles from Glenwood Springs. Harley owner Terry Davis and his wife pulled in and Terry called Aspen Valley Harley-Davidson. Luckily, employee Curtis Baum was making a delivery in Rifle, so within MINUTES Curtis was loading up my Wing for a ride to AVHD. General Manager Tim Darnley met me outside the door, ready to do whatever necessary to assist me in my journey. Long story short, after 2-1/2 hours of investigation, phone calls and finagling, I hit the road again with a couple of extra batteries and a lot of good wishes and a few prayers for a safe trip. I cannot emphasize enough how helpful customer Terry, General Manager Tim, employee Curtis and Tech Jason all were in this experience. The Honda shop was not even OPEN on this Labor Day weekend, and the Harley shop took us (my Wing and me) under their wing and patched us up and sent us on our way. These people jumped through hoops, rolled over and brainstormed like I never could have believed in order to help me with my Honda. You Harley owners in the Glenwood area are SO fortunate to have a dealership with this quality and caliber of people to assist you with your motorcycles. Treat them well and RIDE ON! Again, my sincere thanks to Aspen Valley Harley-Davidson for their assistance in my being able to finish this year's Three Flags Classic! By: I JOY L Lindholm |

I got a flat in Dotsero on 6/29/2012. The Service Department was able to work a miracle and get me back on the road before the close of business. Without such dedicated, helpful service, I would have been stuck overnight. They turned a potentially bad deal into a not-so-bad experience. Thank you Kana, Curtis, and (?)Tony.

Have a 2010 Ultra Limited 103 and had 3 different services done by 3 different companies, but I am sure glad I found Aspen Harley. Kit went way beyond my expectations and made my experience wonderful. The service mgr was very helpful and knowledgable and got my bike in right away. Wont go anywhere else. Found a home at Aspen Harley-Davidson. Thanks Marty

Hi Jen, this is Tracy from Tulsa, left your store Wednesday around 4-5, got the rain suits, with CJ from Gypsum. Okay, we have been coming up blank at what your logo's name is v-something valley??? It sounded really cool but we can't remember what it was called. I would like you to tell management that you were the best sales person we have ever had at a harley store and we really appreciate your help! You are awesome - and if you need me to tell your boss so you can get a raise or if you need me to tell your husband, so the next birthday will be a little better (ha ha). We will throw a big bash for you on 45th BD. Thanks again, you are awesome. Any chance someone could take a picture of that beautiful lime green softail bike that was outside = cost was about 18,500. Didn't see it on your website, looking at that type of bike for me. THANK YOU Tracy L. Henry

I trailered my '91 Sturgis 350 Miles each way to have your Service Department work on my Bike. Terry is an absolute magician, and did a far better than expected job on my repairs. I asked them to completely check over my Bike, and Terry found some things that did need attention-they asked me to come in, and showed me exactly what was needed-no hocus pocus, just great service. When I picked up the bike, Terry took extra time to show me what he'd done, offered me the old parts, and explained some things to me that i did not know. Tim, the Service Manager, met me on his day off, helped me unload my Bike (with an injured arm, I might add), and the communication with him was fabulous. The Bill came in at what they quoted me, and the overall experience was so positive. The H-D Dealer that I had been doing business with never took the time to really help or find out about me, or made me feel that my business was important. OK, I will stop gushing now-well, maybe not-Terry, you are a God! Thank you all for restoring my faith in Dealerships. I will pay happily for this kind of service and respect. Give them all a raise I say-they deserve it! You guys have a Customer for life, as it would take many bad experiences to change my feelings. Oh, and by the way, your Parts Manager has always been very fair with me, and found parts that other H-D Shops would not-

I have delt with Theresa on a few purchases via the internet. Theresa made the buying experience a real pleasure. Always willing to go the extra "mile" to make you happy. When HD dealerships have wonderful personnel such as Theresa, she makes the dealership shine. A business is only as good as its people. Theresa is a asset to Aspen Valley HD. Other faulty HD dealers should take a lesson from Aspen Valley and Theresa on how to do it Right the first time. Thank you very sincerely.

Thanks for your follow up. We were very pleased with all aspects of the rental-the price was reasonable, the service was great, and the bike was in perfect condition. Curtis is the consummate professional at what he does, and made us feel very welcome and secure for our ride. We look forward to renting from you again!

Theresa, we enjoyed the '11 Electric Glide very much. We were a bit skeptical that it wouldn't be able to keep up with the "103 Limited " but it did just fine! Curtis was a pleasure to work with, professional, friendly, and obviously enjoyed his job. Being a holiday weekend, Curtis gave us is cell number in case we needed anything. That was the security we needed being from Florida and at the high altitude! He made sure we were suited properly with rain gear (which we needed every day). Curtis reassured us if we had any problems we had him to turn to for assistance. No problems at all. Wonderful rides every day for a total of 1184 miles of beautiful Colorado! Thank you very much and hope to see you next year! Thanks again! Mike Thornber and Sharen De Lano

I was recently on vacation in the beautiful state of Colorado, and while staying in the area, I wanted to rent a bike for a few days. From beginning to end, the staff at the dealership was outstanding. I had a mechanical problem out on the road that was quickly resolved with a phone call with service. The young woman in Motorclothes was knowledgeable and helpful in providing just what I was looking for. I must thank Curtis for getting all the paperwork and rental paraphernalia ready for me and out on the road very quickly. My sincere thanks to everyone at the dealership, its obvious you care about your customers and your business. I hope to see you all again soon.

We corresponded with Jeanie via email about renting a motorcycle and when we arrived in Colorado we drove to the dealership to talk to them in person. We enjoyed meeting Jeannie and came back in two days to rent a bike for 24 hours. The rental process was efficient, they provided helmets and rain gear (which we needed because we ran into bad weather) and the bike was a beautiful 2011 Electra Glide in excellent condition. They also helped us with our route so we could get the most enjoyment out of our ride. Thank you Curtis and Jeannie!

My buddy & I were riding, and I had a flat rear tire on I-70 in the canyon. Some friends trailered my bike to Aspen Valley Harley Davidson. The service was amazing. The pricing was reasonable. Everyone.....the technicians, the receptionist, the service manager.......went over and above expectations. This was a day that could have been ruined, but because of the people here, it is a day that is still remembered in stories. It rained that day, like a cow pissing on a flat rock.......for hours! The people at Aspen Valley Harley Davidson are top drawer, stand-up, GOOD people to have around when the chips are down. Sincerenly, Chris Cox: Lander, WY

I was on the road and experienced a problem with the voltgage meter. Not wanting to risk a breakdown on the road, my brother contacted tim in the service department for help. Tim made arrangements to get me in that same afternoon. I then dealt with Kana (? spelling) who was excellent: she got the mechanic right on it. Terry, the mechanic, found it to be a minor problem and quickly resolved it. (and at a "reasonable"cost) Tim, Kana and Terry were excellent and FUN. I was made to feel at home and not just another traveler. Thakns to your service department staff.

Stopped in for a visit and end up purchasing my second bike. Pulled in on a 2007 Ultra Glide and left on a 2012. Curtis (aka Cupcake), with some help from Tim made the deal quick and painless. Well, except for the hit to the check book. Tim and the service crew have always taken great care of three of my bikes over the years. I think Tim's sparkling personality must keep me coming back. I had the pleasure of meeting Andy, the new parts manager. I think he's going to do well here. Aspen Valley Harley has always gone above and beyond my expectations. A big THANKS to everybody at AVHD!

Hello Tim, My name is George Herold and 4 others road through your town in May of last year on a Friday heading for Denver and how the guys we talked to said we were not riding to Denver that day because of the snow in Vail. I am still telling friends of the kindness we were shown at Aspen Valley Harley Davidson. When we arrived soaking wet after riding for 100 miles in pouring down rain. The staff inside lighting up the fire place for us to warm up was very much appreciated and thoughtful. I think of you guys often but have not sat down to email you to let you know how grateful we were to meet you. You are a true example of what harley brotherhood is all about. To hold our bikes for the weekend, coming in on monday, your day off, and to see all of the bikes wiped down when we arrived on Monday was the icing on the cake. You helped make our trip enjoyable and memorable. Thanks Again George Herold PS The next time we plan a trip to Denver we will defiantly stop in to see our friends.
